Session Management

  • Customer can begin a remote desktop control session by:
    • Clicking rep name
    • Entering session key
    • Clicking link from email
    • Submitting support issue (configurable by administrator)
  • After submitting, customer will be prompted to download and run customer client
  • When connected, customer will be notified that they are chatting with the technician, and client window will maximize when messages are sent
  • Customer prompted to allow or disallow file transfer
  • Customer chooses level of remote control to give to technician when screen sharing requested
  • Technician can use Virtual Pointer for training if customer does not wish to give full remote desktop control
  • Technician can use Privacy Screen to hide desktop from end user
  • Customer can give enter access credentials to enable technician to reboot system
  • Technician can show his/her screen to and give remote control to end user
  • Customer can exit session by clicking red X, completely uninstalling customer client
  • Customer takes exit survey and/or download session recording
