JOEL BOMGAR | Founder & Chief Executive Officer

In 2003, while working as a field network engineer Joel Bomgar developed the first version of Bomgar remote support software as a way to provide remote technical support to disparate users without leaving his desk. Since the company's founding in 2003, Joel has led the company to acquire over 5,000 customers and increase revenues by over 500 percent. The company's rapid growth has been recognized by numerous awards, including Deloitte's Fast 500 in 2007 and 2008, and Inc. Magazine's Inc. 500 in 2008 and 2009.

As a leading industry expert in remote support, Joel has appeared on programs such as ABC News' "Ahead of the Curve" and in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, CIO Today, Inc. Magazine, Entrepreneur.com, Network World, Windows IT Pro and Red Herring. His knowledge of and passion for the industry has led to a variety of awards and recognition. Most recently, he was named a finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year© 2009 Award in the Houston and Gulf Coast Area Program, and Mississippian of the Year by the Association of Information Technology Professionals. He was also accepted into the Young Presidents' Organization, the world's largest network of company Presidents and CEOs.

Joel serves on numerous technology and public policy boards.

Prior to starting Bomgar Corporation, Joel worked as a senior network engineer for Business Communications, Inc. (BCI), a systems integrator, where he was responsible for providing technical support and assistance to all of BCI's customers. Joel has nearly a decade of experience in network engineering, and served in the Mississippi Air National Guard where he honed his networking and computer skills, earning more than 16 network certifications. Joel graduated from Belhaven College with a bachelor's degree in business administration.

MIKE MORGAN | Chief Financial Officer

As chief financial officer, Mike Morgan oversees Bomgar's accounting, finance, legal, human resources and IT operations.

With over 20 years of experience the in high-tech and telecommunications industries, Morgan's fiscal leadership has helped accelerate Bomgar's rapid growth, leading to numerous awards from Deloitte and Inc. Magazine.

Before joining Bomgar in 2006, Morgan served as the chief financial officer of American Healthtech, a major software provider to the long-term healthcare industry. Prior to American Healthtech, he was responsible for developing Trinsic Communications' Sarbanes Oxley compliance and strategic planning. Morgan also served as chief financial officer at Touch One Communications, a high-growth consumer technology company serving over 500,000 customers, where he drove the business plan behind new product launches for multiple wireless offerings and directed the strategic acquisition of several teleservice centers.

Morgan also served in a corporate development role at LDDS Communications, leading due diligence and integration efforts on over 20 acquisitions as the company grew from $600 million in revenue in 1991 to over $4 billion in 1996. Prior to that role, Morgan served as a CPA at Arthur Andersen and Company, where client engagements included National Telecommunications, Mobile Communications Corporation of America, LDDS Communications, Mercury Telecom and Georgia Pacific.

Morgan is active in the Atlanta Technology Executive Roundtable, AICPA and Mississippi Society of CPAs.  He frequently serves as, a guest lecturer at local colleges and CPA events. A licensed CPA, Morgan holds a bachelor of accountancy from the University of Mississippi and a master of business administration from Mississippi College.

HUEY NGO | EVP of Product Development & Engineering

As executive vice president of product development and engineering, Huey Ngo is responsible for satisfying the development as well as support and training needs of Bomgar's diverse base of over 5,000 customers.

Ngo has over 10 years' experience leading and guiding product development efforts. At Bomgar, he  oversees product development and management, , quality assurance, and customer support efforts. Under Ngo's leadership, Bomgar's development team has secured multiple awards and patents for cutting-edge technology, including Bomgar's patented deployment model, JumpTM Technology, Access SponsorTM, EmbassyTM and Rep InviteTM.

Prior to Bomgar, Ngo served in engineering leadership positions at SkyTel, a fast-growing telecommunications company. In his seven-year tenure at SkyTel, Ngo helped lead software design, hardware design and product development. His contributions led to the launching of several of SkyTel's flagship wireless messaging products.

Ngo holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University.

GARY BROOKS | EVP of Worldwide Marketing

As executive vice president of worldwide marketing, Gary Brooks is responsible for the development and execution of Bomgar's global marketing strategy. This includes market positioning, branding, demand creation, sales process, public relations and product marketing.

Brooks has over 20 years' experience providing leadership at both strategic and tactical levels. He has developed and executed plans to align company vision, strategy and goals with measurable sales and marketing objectives, while creating efficient processes to enable success.

Prior to Bomgar, Brooks served as executive vice president of marketing at Servigistics where he repositioned the company and re-engineered the sales and marketing process which accelerated revenue growth and led to the sale of the company. Brooks also served as vice president of marketing at Tradex Technologies, where he developed and implemented the strategic market positioning that led to the successful merger between Ariba and TRADEX. Additionally, Brooks served in marketing leadership roles with KnowledgeStorm, Fortress Technologies, Alta Vista and Digital Equipment Corporation. 

Brooks holds a bachelor's degree from Northeastern University, a master's degree from Lesley College, and is a retired United States Army Reserve Officer.  In 2006, The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) named Brooks as Georgia's “Technology Marketing Executive of the Year.”

PETER JANICO | EVP of Global Sales Operations

As executive vice president of global sales operations, Peter Janico is responsible for Bomgar's revenue, profit and alliances. Janico drives the enterprise, international and commercial sales efforts at Bomgar, presides over business development and alliances, and guides sales support operations.

During Janico's more than 26 years of sales leadership experience, he has built a reputation on driving two- and three-digit year-over-year growth, orchestrating numerous seven-figure sales and managing global deployments.

Prior to Bomgar, Janico was a sales management MVP at Oracle, where he won the President's Club sales award consecutively for multiple years. His sales leadership at Oracle took the telecommunications group from $10 million to $300 million in revenue. Prior to Oracle, Janico was the number two sales rep in the country for multiple years and a Compass Club award winner at Computer Associates. Janico also was named to the Presidents Club five times during his tenure at Xerox. Janico has additional experience at multiple start-up companies where he launched and repositioned the sales organization for success.

Janico holds a business economics degree from Brock University in Toronto, Canada.
